Well, I think I reached a high water mark of some kind. The past weekends show at Timonium, Maryland is the second local show in a row that I came home with
NOTHING! Not even a box of ammo. And not for want of spending money either. Hope it's just a result of the current panic situation or a lack of new stuff
hitting the market. I've been buying at gun shows for the last 30+ years. The only things remotely interesting were a GSG-5 assault pistol and a Model 1914...

I was really disappointed in this show - prices are up 25-100% on almost everything. New guns (mostly AR-15s) were selling for more than they cost new at
Gander Mountain. I didn't see a single AR of any kind for less than around $850. Prices were also up on the traditionally cheap CZ-82s and CZ-52s - a lot
of vendors were asking nearly $300 for these. I saw a couple SIG P6s...

coming down now with the downturn in the economy? Or are you now hearing "better get 'em while you can cause Obama's gonna ban 'em
all!"? Biggest crowd I ever saw at a gunshow was in January of 1993, just before Bill Clinton was ignaugurated. Almost no place to park, and panic
buying in the show.

The Old Codger: Weighing about 300 pounds, he stands chatting in the middle of the aisle, totally oblivious ot the fact that nobody can get by him. It has
usually been way too long since he has showered or washed his hair.
