			<description><![CDATA[ I got a new M39 and started to take it down and ran into a push me pull you problem.

Opposite the band retaining spring through the stock a pin is protruding. Depress the spring, it protrudes farther. It does not line up with t he gap in the
band at the pinch screw. Therefore, I cannot remove the band. I looked on my other M39 and there&#39;s no such protruding pin. I am inclined to clip the sucker
off and have done with it but thought I&#39;d ask first before modifying anything. I do... ]]></description>

Thinking about taking an unissued Madsen M47, a great Finn M27 and maybe a couple Tula M38&#39;s. I&#39;d like some opinions of what I might be able to ask for

			<description><![CDATA[ I picked up a 1941 VKT M39. Mosins are new to me

When you cycle the bolt the handle it doesn&#39;t lock down tightly. It only takes Slight pressure upwards &amp; it would lift the bolt hande. Is this normal?
I mostly have Mausers which close tightly. The bolt seems to operate correctly &amp; the safety moves easily.

every part is ishvesk i thought this was great a non refurb all matching even the stock number matches bolt number and with the ishvesk stock stamp cccp with
wreath in a circle of course the machine work is rough but barrel is not counter bored and square bright lands first mosin guys is this as described somewhat a

  The local Dunhams had a $79 sale on 91-30&#39;s. There was one with a hex reciever that had an Ishevesk barrel that must be dated 1928 judging from the type
  of stamp. The refurb mark had been stamped over the last digit in the date. It looks to an 8 but could be a 3,5, or 6. The barrel looked newer than the
  receiver and had very few other marks stamped into it. It was quite clean compared... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Several months ago I bought an M91; boxed SA and Tikka stampings on the barrel which is dated 1942.  Question concerns the shooter-side of the rear sight -
stamped 13 to 32 while the left side of the sight base is stamped with lined-out 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 and the right side of the base is stamped 2,3,4, 5 1/2, 7,
8 1/2.  What do the stampings on the back-side of the sight leaf indicate?  Arshini?  TIA.

			<description><![CDATA[ I broke mine.  It is the old style with the screw that is captured in the bracket.  I turned it the wrong way and broke off the non-slotted side of the screw. 
Anyone know of any replacements.  The stock is not cut for the russian style rear bands with stock retainer. ]]></description>
