I picked up a 1888 action without a barrel or shroud at a gunshow a few months back. Someone tried to make a turned down butterknife looking bolt handle. What
attracted me to this thing in amongst the piles of junk on this table was the bolt head and extractor that I need for another 1888. Now I need to decide on
what to do with the rest of the parts. The reciever is marked C.G Hanel, Suhl, 1896, Germany and marked Kar 88 on the side which I'm assuming is a
commercial model not worth very...

Bobby,
I really want to keep the firing pin, bolt head and extractor, but you can have the reciever and bolt body for the cost of shipping it from AK. Send me an e
mail at johnsanborn@gci.net with an address if you are still are interested.
