The Chinese brass chargers ("strippers") work great, but they are quite fragile. They work well ONCE. They tend to break very easily at the bends. If
you are exceedingly gentle, they may work well for you several times.

Most of my M91 rifles are picky about chargers, but the Chinese work well in all of them.

Got the ammo today, one spam can, 20 packs, 15 rounds per pack on brass strippers for a total of 300 rds. $58.00 out the door. How would you rate the brass
strippers as far as quality and function?

The Chinese milsurp ammo was among the best we ever had. Too bad that Clinton banned the importation of it. I have not ever run across any Chinese 7.62X54R
ammo, but if it is the same quality of the 7.62X39 and 7.62X51 milsurp ammo, you will most definately not go wrong with stocking up on it. Of course it is
corrosive, but so what? Most of the ammo us milsurpers shoot is corrosive, and we have gotten in the habit of proper cleaning for corrosive ammo, so it is
second nature to most of us....

I have several cases of this ammo, brass cased, copper jacket, brass stripper clip, 15 rounds in a paper bundle tied with string. Ran some over a chronograph
years ago, got a standard deveaition of 1 fps (yep....ONE) really nice ammo. Stuff was made in the 50's but looks brand new, sure fire. (mine is anyway)

Is it copper washed, lacquer coated or brass? I've seen and shot all three. They are all very corrosive, but functionally reliable and reasonably accurate
ammo.
A factory code & date stamp might help in getting more solid info.
