Guess I'm really unPC, but my favorite parts of the film were Clint's racist rants, and his boiling over anger against his family. The scenes with him sitting on the porch were priceless. I busted up laughing every time. Reminded me of an ex-girlfriends dad, a dead on match.

In my view, Clint was sending himself up in the way he used the many cliches of his earlier movies, and the movie's ending, which some didn't like, was actually pretty original, and unexpected.

Yes he did, and other than the first one, they were pretty poor. While I've been a Charles Bronson fan for years, these were by far his worst movies. His best? IMHO it would be "Once Upon A Time in the West." One of my favorite all time movies. Henry Fonda? Playing a very, very, bad, bad man? Priceless.
