Watched this one last night, and loved it! I knew Clint's character was going to end up in a coffin one way or another, but didn't expect what
happened.

Guess I'm really unPC, but my favorite parts of the film were Clint's racist rants, and his boiling over anger against his family. The scenes with him
sitting on the porch were priceless. I busted up laughing every time. Reminded me of an ex-girlfriends dad, a dead on match.

There were very few real actors in this movie. Clint went with a mostly amateur or unknown cast, not unlike how BoB was filmed. I thought it worked pretty
well.

In my view, Clint was sending himself up in the way he used the many cliches of his earlier movies, and the movie's ending, which some didn't like, was
actually pretty original, and unexpected.

OK, I watched it last week and I'll be the contrary one. The acting was horrible, the plot hackneyed, the directing terrible. Where did they come up with
the D list actors who mechanically read their lines with little feeling? The plot was one big cliche' and I think Clint was bad too. Sorry boys but
that's how it struck me.

I saw it last night and thought it was really excellent in many ways. So totally unPC that it's hard to imagine that it could even be considered for the

Just got through watching Gran Torino. In many ways it plays on the old Eastwood stereotypes to excess. In some ways it evokes some of the later stuff, which
I don't care for. I have to give the movie credit for a decent storyline, some good characterizations, and I really have to admit I couldn't call the
climactic scene until seconds before it happened. Good ending, guys.

Yes he did, and other than the first one, they were pretty poor. While I've been a Charles Bronson fan for years, these were by far his worst movies. His
best? IMHO it would be "Once Upon A Time in the West." One of my favorite all time movies. Henry Fonda? Playing a very, very, bad, bad man?
Priceless.
