There are certainly many groups taking on protestant names to further their desire to control and obtain power and wealth.
Orange comes to mind as a good example.
TV evangelist are another good example of using the name of God to abuse people.
Blasphemy means to attach God's name to a lie and listening to Jimmy cry "I have sinned" then go right back and still be accepted is enough to make ones stomach turn.
And, I agree even decent Protestants...

Classic Arms was and is a great company to trade with.Bought some items from them over the years,and enjoyed reading the website.A little info,a little humor, I found it to brighten the day in this hectic times we live in. I don't blame Ben at all for getting out.Sometimes you just gotta move on.More power to him! I'd grade you a 'C' on it because you appear to be ignorant of negative things that protestants have inflicted on humanity. Brush up on your history, please. Do you look pious? My; does that mean you don't like Christians; was a counter to you being turned off by people letting you know how they feel, another vantage to how that sounded or could be taken.
Catholicism is very different that the Christianity Ben professed and Catholism was indoctrination.

Interesting you assume people claiming to be a Christian assume others must not be moral.
No one said anything of the kind. Christians are not better than anyone else, just forgiven by God for being like everyone else.

My point was Ben was putting himself in a position of having to own up to a moral standard that not doing so would make him look hypocritical.

'Blather' refers to someone whose verbosity overwhelms the message, in this case, gun advertising. Doesn't have to do with BS, just being compelled to say everything that pops into one's head. You don't have to be a Christian to be moral and I'm turned off by people who wear their religion on their sleeves. Like I say, I have bought a good number of items from Ben and have been extremely happy. By the way, that website doesn't seem to be moving very fast...

You could not get Ben to talk "religion".
He simply stated he was a Christian for all to see and know and in so doing you knew he had a standard to live up to.
As a Christian I expect to be held to that same standard of my word so appreciate it when people wear their heart on their sleeve.

That "Blather is what drew me to the buisness in the first place...Course since I was always treated like family and the company always kept its word like you would expect from a religious moral person..I stayed as a customer...I consider "Blather" to mean BS ..there was no BS with Ben..Sorry to see him go but I'm sure a family man with real convictions will have picked his sucessor with care...Looking forward to doing buisness with the new owners...

After reading this post, I went and checked out Classic Arms. I was impressed. I did find a tobacco tin cleaning kit for $10. This was 1/2 of what anyone else was asking. So I ordered one. It came today and it is beautiful! Everything is as advertized, and the quality and condition is excellent. I would highly recomend it and them!

I bought a refurbed RC Kar98k 42 marked 1940 date from Wulfmann. It is excellent and I take his recomendations to heart. This is a good...
