Yes, that was the best explanation of CA rules. I had one CA FFL insisting that I include an approval from the CA DOJ to ship a Remington 511 to him. Even after I included my E-mail from CA DOJ stating that it didn't apply to a C&R FFL, my buyer had to find another FFL.

Just take off the pistol grip forestock, grind off the bayonet lug and grenade launcher, then weld the mag to the receiver......

Don, did the chart I posted the link to help any?

It cleared up a lot of misinformation for me, in addition to Tom's/ trauert's help when I sent a MAS 49 to CA a few months ago.

gunboards was started in the 90's if i rember,i have been a membet there for around 8 years or so.i have sold alot there with no problems yet but they get a lot of new people. they have a post count there also and alot of the older members will have a higher post count most of the time. you can allways relist it and state the other buyer did not go through with it.

Which is exactly the goal of the anti-gun people in power here. Make the rest of the country abandon us and they win. Then they move to your state and the federal arena.

I put a Sorry do not sell to Kalifornia on my auctions due to the hornets nest and riga moroe on Kalifornia gun laws . Easier not to sell there at all . hope this helps.

Don,
There's a "flow chart" that shows what can & can't go to CA based on characteristics of the rifle.

That should help clear the mud as to whether or not the M1 can be "imported" into that state.
Send them a PM through the gunboards messenger and e-mail, click on their profile to get that information.
Also, there are a lot of "tire kickers" over there in the WTS forum....

I don't believe that you can sell that carbine in CA. According to them it it an "Assault Rifle." Magazine capacity over ten (10) rounds.

I have an Inland carbine posted on gunboards. I received a pm from someone offering to buy it at my price if that included shipping to CA. I didn't reply right away since I had someone else showing interest. With Spring Break and checking on what the laws were about shippping to CA, I replied 4-5 days later accepting his offer. That was last week and I haven't heard from him. I have PM ed and tried all other ways to contact him through GB. I am trying not to get ticked off...
