			<description><![CDATA[ Only 5% reject is an excellent casting session! I cast 115 of the 535 grain .45 cal Postells for my 45-70 BPCRS yesterday and I&#39;ll be very glad to have 100
fully usable bullets out of it!

Of course you did have a piped in oxygen supply to your face masks, so that you weren&#39;t breathing any air from over the lead pot, right?!?! Or did you have
the lead pot in a hyperbaric chamber, and did your casting by remote manipilators???

			<description><![CDATA[ We casted about 500 .38&#39;s yesterday afternoon. With a 6 cavity mold, it went fast. First time I&#39;d ever casted. Like everything else there is a certain
knack that I am learning. I had about 5% rejects. Oh well. It was a lot of fun. ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I can add my 2 cents worth to the lead issues. They go on about lead contamination caused by lead shot from hunters in the swamps after ducks - with no
evidence. Tests were done over here years ago and some lakes in the city were found to have high lead concentrations due to car exhaust emissions - that was
before unleaded gas was introduced.

			<description><![CDATA[ After DDT was banned in the US, we were still manufacturing it, only it was being used in other countries. I wouldn&#39;t be a bit suprised if some nations are
still using it.

Chlorodane is another great pest control agent that we no longer have. It sure kept the bugs from around the house perimeter, great for keeping out the
termites, ants, spiders and whatnot.  Farmer use was banned, but a person could still buy it for home use at the local nursery.

			<description><![CDATA[ All I can say is that Aluminum can be very toxic if it enters your blood stream directly! When I was a toddler, I had polio, as the Salk vaccine had not been
developed yet. I wore aluminum leg braces for two years and at one point, they broke and dug into my leg. I ended up spending time in the hospital (Shriners)
due to the blood poisoning I got from the aluminum. So NOT kid your self and think it is not. How many warnings have you seen on aluminum pots and pans about
overheating them or... ]]></description>

It should be noted that aluminum is also a very toxic metal in everyday usage, as are many other commonly found elements, but so far the enviro&#39;s
aren&#39;t villifying it in the same manner as they are using against lead.

			<description><![CDATA[ Aubullet, I think we should call you Pbbullet. I, too, have found wheel weights along the road. I really don&#39;t walk the shoulders of roads looking for
them, but I do sometimes find them laying around. Thanks for the education on lead. Explains why lead bullets are still found in good shape in the Civil War
battlefields. Some oxidation, but still in relatively good shape.

			<description><![CDATA[ Doc- there was a big writeup in the local paper a few months ago about how the ethanol in the gasoline we buy now has put a stop on a lot of aircraft flying. I
can just see it now, one of those environmentalists will have a child serious injured in some rural area, far from a hospital and dies as a result of not
getting medical attention soon enough because Med Star and other aircraft were grounded because lack of AVGAS for them. It has really hurt the guys who fly
vintage aircraft.

			<description><![CDATA[ I have another lead legislation related problem. Our piston airplane engines almost all operate on 100 octane leaded fuel. Many higher perfomance engines will
not run on car gas. There are constant attempts to ban our Avgas which would ground most high performance piston airplanes.

My (non high-performance) plane can safely and legally be operated on car gas, but not if it has alcohol in it, which most car gas does now. Again, thanks to
