I'm trying to swing getting this Romanian Tok at a local store here, since 7.62x25 is about the only cheap handgun ammo around anymore he stocks a lot of guns in that caliber. I just bought a CZ-52 from him, and last week a S&W Model 10-5 so I may have to let the $200 Romanian Tok slip away!

Actually not - the Yugo mag holds two more rounds than the others. It will fit the other pistols (although protruding below the butt), but the other mags will not fit the Yugo.

Recently I picked up a Yugo Tok also. Paid way too much, but what the heck I got one. Good shooter but drags the firing pin across the primers,the Yugo does.

Not to rub salt, but my first Russian Tok, I bought at an implement dealer here in south central Illinois for the grand price of 100 bucks out the door. A 43 with no import marks. It has travelled a few times since that purchase, but has somehow came back

I paid exactly the same for a 1944 non-import in about 60% four years ago. I'd say you did real well.

Grundy is a little confused, I think. There haven't been any Russian TTs available from Century or SOG in a very long time. Romanian, Polish, Yugo. I just picked up a Yugo, and it's awesome.

Romanians, yes, but I've not seen Russians at the wholesale level in several years.

You never pay too much for a pistol, you just may buy it to soon.

That's not a bad buy, hard to find one cheaper.

I paid thirty bucks for mine in the 60's, but those days are long gone.

Thanks... Just hated dropping that much on a pistol that I got to hold for a couple minutes before the show. Just need to see which of the children in the safe needs a new home so I can keep it now. -)

well, with no pix to drool over, I think you did well
there's a '36 TT 33 over on GB right now for $699, w/ no import marks
that ought to give you a point of reference, of sorts

Went to a large auction today and I went a little crazy and dropped $475 for a Russian Tokarev (1949) in 80% condition. Matching. Small CAI stamp. Probably paid too much, but I am having a hard time finding any price ranges on it. So how bad did I hose myself/???
