			<description><![CDATA[ I don&#39;t reload either, so I don&#39;t know really what is a flat based bullet or a boattailed bullet.  But some of the Danish ammo that was on the market a
few years ago had boattailed bullets.  In a Garand or a 1903/ 1903A3, it shoots wonderful.  But in a M1917, it patterns like a shotgun round.  Some people
disagree with this, but I am convinced, as I have three of he rifles and they are all the same way.

			<description><![CDATA[ The U.S. Model of 1917 has always been a big favorite of mine. I have three of them presently, two Eddystones and one Winchester. They all shoot good, but they
definately do not like boattailed bullets, so shoot flat base bullets thru them.
