        <![CDATA[ I guess that old army guy I spoke to on gun cleaning was right......taking an AR 15 into the shower IS a quick and easy way to clean.


Afterwards I followed up with a liberal application of hair dryer to get rid of all the water (that&#39;s the only reason I keep a hair dryer around since I
started shaving my head).


Getting those handguards off by hand prior to the shower was tough!

			<description><![CDATA[ When I went through Basic Training we all stepped into the shower with our M-16&#39;s after the night on th Infiltration Course. It was December, it had rained
all day, the range was course sand, and we all crawled the entire 150 meters from trench to trench. Upon returning to the barracks we all trailed in pounds of
sand and we all stepped directly into the shower to get most of it off our selves and equipment before stripping and going to our bunks.
