        <![CDATA[ So I have an 1898 model Krag that the stock was irreparably cracked when I took posession of it. I determined to inlet a new stock for it, and so I ordered one up from Boyd's. 

Now I've never inlet a stock before, and while I have RE-finished a number of them, since I've never started from scratch, I've never FINISHED a stock before

I've managed to inlet the stock (right now I am forgoing a handguard), and until last night it was just a smooth hunk of extremely blonde walnut wood.... ]]>
