What's worse is, I don't know how to fix it or what to tell you. We don't want to lose you. I am on dial-up, so I don't know what is "fast" is with this system, but it is working reasonably fast for me. My agrivation (previously mentioned) is that each time I go to any page I have to clear 7 to 11 "script error" message windows that pop up. I haven't a clue where they came from, but showed up at the same time as "yuku" did. Bill mentioned that there was no choice in this conversion. No doubt things won't go smoothly for everyone, but the extra time and effort can cause some folks such an inconvenience as they will drop out. I'm sorry that I can't fix it. Regards.

This is the first time I have noticed you posting in a while that I can recall. I am like Notpc, I have s--l---o---w dial-up, and was ready to give up. Kept looking, all my cookies and blockers were working. Finally someone said something about an "update" That did it and I'm still here. My e-machine is pre-historc compared to some out there, and was "home built", but I kept kicking. skd

Had some login issues that resolved itself as well. It's "More Gooder" than it was at first Hope you can check in on us from time to time to see if it improves for you. My experience with some computer swap overs and big changes is that not enough impact analysis is put in by the techies or it's good old "Test In Production". Seems to have stabilized some. About ten times faster than I can type but of course that is not saying much! I don't like all this extra crap they have added and for sure I will use little of it and have found a way around most of it. I even have spell check working again for a change. I have been checking the speed of my cable at home here for about two month's now and when it slows down this of course suffers greatly. Maybe you should check the local cable company to bee if they can do anything for you? I had them to the house about a dozen times and got a free month of service finally they have thing going reasonably well! I live in rural West Virginia on the side of a hill and I really never expected it to be as fast as it is to be honest! Bill

But the problem turned out to be my server. I was on AOL. But I switched to Firefox and all is well.(knock on wood) And I'm on rural dial up, 40-44K is the max I get. We griped and they actually made an effort to fix it. That picked up the speed to about what it used to be. I didn't like the manner in which they did this, and don't care for the touchy-feely stuff in the personal home page (kudos my tired butt), but at least it seems we can get around our site again. I'm also on rural dial-up, and I don't notice any difference in the speed . The posts I've made have shown up immediately, even with pictures. It is easier to post pictures with the "Insert image from Photobucket" button. "Whenever there are only seconds to save your life, the police are only minutes away."

This text entry window is a little odd... and I can keystroke faster than it can keep up, apparently. When I can't see what im typing I seem to goof up a lot.... obviously. I'll have ty try stickin in an image to see how that works . Your avitar reminds me so much of our late beloved yorkie "Spike" - God, we miss that little fella! We now have a pair (littermates) of "yourki poos" - yorkie toy poodle mix - and they are doing a pretty good job filling Spik's paweprints in our hearts and home. Well that's a PITA. I could get the URL link off of photobucket and paste it in here faster than going through all that malarkie. This systemn is going to be interesting.

We got him last fathers day from a woman who couldn't keep him any more. He was only 4 months old at the time. We have another also. Good little dogs for us old retired folk!
