I just ground off the rear sight of my CETME (American reciever) to install a standard G3 / HK sight base .
Its all finished smooth and ready . Question : Can I silver solder it or should it be welded ? Email please . jeff4570@aol.com |

Welded....carefully......by a skilled welder.

Using a TIG welder and very little if any filler rod, Basically you simply want to Flow metal from the base into the reciever.
