We have no idea what it is, I assume it is a spandeau rifle made for WW1?
Any idea what it is worth?
It doesn't mean anything to him, so we are looking for info to sell or trade the rifle off.
Thanks
Also known as the M88 Mauser, Gew 88, Kar88, and Gewehr 88.

Nice looking Mannlicher Model 88 "Commission" rifle. Arabic numerals on the sight and other modifications indicate sale to the Turks for WW1.

alskdjdj,
Welcome to ParallaxBill's forums! Nice looking GEW88/05 (with the 1905 stripper clip conversion), you've got there, that found itself it the Ottoman Empire (Turkey) for a period of time. If you want to sell it, you'll need to list it on the WTS (Want To Sell) forum, located here: http://parallaxscurioandrelicfirearmsforums.yuku.com/forums/124 We don't do any selling or trading within the regular discussion forums. -Bean

alskdjdj, you have a Gew88/05 given by Germany to the Turks during WW1. It is nice in about average condition for the Turk used 88/05s. In your add on the
Trader you say all numbers match but the bolt is numbered in Turkic numerals. Also, you might want to list a selling price.
