FN israeli .22 98k mauser rifle parts? |
Lead | |
|
Does anyone know where to obtain .22 complete bolts and bolt parts for purpose built israeli fn 98k .22 mauser rifles. I have 40 of these rifles that I am
rebuilding and need a few parts to complete these guns. These guns are what was left out of 900 .22 rifles that I imported into canada about 15 years ago. Each
rifle is exc to exc+ condition metal wise. Stocks show use from being "racked" and storage. I also have a few MAS-mauser model 45 .22 rifles that
need stocks---anyone know if anyone has any? I will have barrelled receivers left from the.22's and was think of re-barrelling them to 308 single shot
rifles. Can this be done? 308 mauser bolts fit into receiver up to the face of the .22 barrel.

Numrich has some parts listed .theres another place that has the firing pins I just cant remember the name.they are online and have a website might be a place
called dealers warehouse or something like that.I made a firing pin once it was a chore.I would not trust the heat treat of the reciever for any centerfire
round.Id sure buy one from you if for sale but being in Canada I dont think its easy.I have 1 and its a great rifle almost my favorite .22

www.thedealershowroom.com, located in W. Sacramento, Ca. I bought something for the .22 bolt from them a couple years ago. Nice folks to do business.
