does any one know the york county sheriff's position on class 3 firearms?i've asked on other forums,but i have heard no replies.if this is taboo

If you are in a friendly class III state and you have the cash and the papers they pretty much can't deny you without any law saying that they aren't
legal in your area. Of course they always can try and you should do a little research on how to get your forms signed off on. This place is a good read on what

That'll be South Carolina.
Chris, I don't know but it was only recently that SC would allow any class 3 weapons. Strange for SC I always thought. It depends on your Sheriff no matter what the state mandates.

I believe a trust can be established if you can't get a Sheriff to sign off, but that creates additional fees/ issues.
