I started on Mosin-Nagants with the 91/59 and had four or five of them at one time in the past. What I like about them is that all the ones I have seen have been in excellent shape and were fantastic shooters. I never have been able to find any M38's that were worth my bringing home for the price that was asked for them. I don't do the auction sales bit, as I like to get close and inspect a firearm before maybe buying it. About all I could suggest is to check out the local gun shows and don't be afraid to ask if you think you may find someone selling other Mosin-Nagant rifles. They are out there, but just not as available as they once were. Curt

Lots of M38's though, but most times in M44 stocks. Just looked at a coupl last night but I am sorry I don't remember what they wanted for them. Bill
