Ed Harris lists some universal loads for many milsurp calibers and includes Unique powder. This may be a good place to start and is interesting reading. Check
out his info at this website:
http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=13425 .308 diameter bullets are undersize for most 7.62x54r barrels. It is better to slug your barrel and use slightly oversize bullets, such as .311-.312. Undersize bullets usually are inaccurate and cause excessive leading in the barrel. |
