New CZ-52 grips |
Lead | |
|
I saw these on a CZ-52 that a gentleman was selling and asked if he would sell them to me and he did. I really like them...not just the color, but material
isn't as slick as the original bakelite. I usually use a Hogue Hand-all on my '52, but I hate to cover these up!

To me they look gray. The seller said they are green. On the background in the pics they look more green, but pick it up and they look just as gray as can be.

They look good to me. What do the insides look like?

moulded like the inside of a standard CZ-52 grip. They fit really nicely.

I have a set of these that are moulded in white plastic. The fellow I got them from was making them in several different colors a couple years ago. He may
have gotten out of the business because I haven't seen any of his products listed for some time now. He used to make them in several different colors,
even pink for the ladys

These probably came from him, from what I understand. I'm told they're called "Zee Grips" as the fellow that used to make them went by the
handle of "Z" on gunboards.

Was that Z-bill? My memory is sketchy, but I think that was him....
Seems like he may have passed away. If not, sorry Z-Bill! |

I got a pair in a kind of brown mottled look. I was going for a "desert camo" look, but they aren't. If I can find them would anyone be
interested in them?

Yep, I made those. I'm now just starting to make grips again...long story. Anyway, I'll be making up a few pairs over the next few days. Look for
pictures on the trader boards. When I make these, I do not have a lot of control how the colors turn out, I'ts kind of random, especially for the swirled
patterns. The dyes I use are REALLY thick and impossible to measure, and the nature of the resin is that it reacts differently when mixing it, in the slightest
temperature difference. As a result, no two pairs are identical. Anyway, keep an eye out, and thanks for the kudos!
