movie question. Rather, it's a general, don't know which mauser, question.
In this old classic movie, Charlie Chan's Secret, Warner Oland, the murderer rigs a rifle in a bell tower to be rung by the bell's striker. It's clearly a milsurp. I have never been able to make up my mind which model. Short, full rear sight wrap, handguard. Somewhat like the FN model 1930?
This movie is an oldy, it was made in 1936. That should narrow things some.
This is a VHS tape so I shot the image off the tele screen so it ain't very good.
So what's Charlie's Secret (mauser ID)?
