So, how about it, anyone have any memories of things you should not have gotten rid of or traded off? Just for starters....I miss my G33/40s ( 3, all matching, each different) I miss my K43 sniper rig ( nuf said ) I miss my Lugers ( some of them anyway ) GOD help me, but I am having thoughts of moving some early model Savage pistols. Maybe even a Zero Series late war P38 in it's original liberated box. A 1908 Commercial Luger................ Anyway, these are mine, now show me yours. G

Back then I seriously thought I only needed a few basic guns and thus reasoned my way into parting with what should have been passed on to my sons. Oh, and a single shot 12 gage I received after my father passed on, which I gifted to a cousin when I enlisted. As far as rifles there are only two: my first M-1 Garand purchased in 1969 and a Model 93 Spanish Mauser made by Loewe in the B serial number range purchased in '68 or '69. I parted with them at a time of financial difficulty. I know who owns them and could probably buy them back from him or from his heirs when he's gone. Carl

Paid $550 cash for it, shot 2000 rounds through it, got my money back a year later. That should have been a clue! Vet bring back Mauser 98k AX41 100% match, mirror bore, original sling, exc+ condition 1911A1 Ithaca - still in box as received from DCM. From the last batch made by Ithaca. Test fired only. 1911 Springfield made 1918 100% original Pre-Garcia Sako Forester 308 w/Zeiss scope traded for my junky first Garand Many more...... These were in the 70's and early 80's. Most of my guns "disappeared" when I entered into two expensive ventures....marriage and house. Don't feel too sorry for me. Except for the Sako deal I got more out of my guns than I had into them, usually at the top end of their value at the time. If the truth hurts.....maybe it should.

I wish I still had many of them. 1962 ImpalaSS 327 Powerslide, 1964 MalibuSS 327 4spd, 1965 MalibuSS 327 4spd, 1964 GTO 389 4spd, 1966 MalibuSS 427 4spd ( the 66 SS had a 67 L88 Vette motor), 1968 MalibuSS 327 4spd, 1969 NovaSS 396 4spd, 1969 Hurst Scrambler 390 4spd, 1973 Z28 350 4spd, 1971 HD Superglide, 1963 HD Panhead DuoGlide.... The rest of the vehicles were just "transportation". Still holding on to the 1960 HD Panhead. As far as the guns go, probly too many to list. I've had to thin out the collection more than a couple times, and rebuild it. No tears over most of the guns. I managed to get back what I really wanted. The cars are another story. I do miss most all of the muscle cars. Couldn't afford to drive em much now with gas like it is. But I could retire on the money from them now. Armed Infidel

I needed a car right away and had no cash. It was a good deal but, I miss that rifle more than any I've had to sell/trade.

I regret (as Smokepole and I both foresaw) letting my girlfriend of last summer go.........she wasn't the hottest and had some "issues".....but so did the Winchester 94 I've worked on for 4 weeks now FINALLY finished her (check out the pics in "modern rifles" forum). This gal was sweet, smart, and loved shooting......but it wasn't fated, apparently. No pics of her due to confidentiality! She's in a league of her own. GREG
