Posts: 572 (05/16/08 11:08 PM) Veteran member Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	After pondering it for a week I went back and bought one of the 1886 Portguese Kropatscheks I recently saw at a local shop. beautiful bore, MM bolt but the bolt matches itself (except for the head) Couple of minor dings to the wood and a small crack at the heal that looks stable. Bluing about 90% or better. Came with the bayonet w/ scabbard. Got the whole thing for $180. Based on the little info i could find on the net, i think I did good. Funny story. As I was putting it in the truck, a young guy who came out of the shop behind me asks "Is that to hang on the wall?" When I told him that if I could locate or elected to make ammo, I could and would be shooting it, he seemed stunned. What is the correct forum to discuss these in?
