I had one but I remenber it being a Daisy. 50 shot tube feed, you had to unscrew it from the muzzle. Is that the one you are talking about?

Daisy Model 25, probably. I bought one off the internet last year some time, as it was my favorite from my childhood. Needless to say, the dang plunger/washer is dried out. Trying to find a way to fix it. No luck so far.

I've had luck treating the plunger with a silicone grease. It will make it swell, and not degrade the rubber.

Surf around, there has got to be an air rifle forum out there somewhere.

We have a product here our press operators use called rubber rejuvenator, they use it to swell rubber belts and blankets. Try a little bit of that on it.

You were a lucky kid to get a pump.... i had mine from 58-65. Shot harder than the lever Daisy's and every time too.I bought my sons and grandsons BB guns, but they were no big deal to them.Few things a kid from the 50s had ....bicycle, BB Gun, baseball glove, football, marbles and electric trains and we actually took care of them....oh yeah and the electric football game....those little guys made moves the X Box games could never do!
