Howdy, folks.
It's time for June's photo contest. In the past we've gone with a D-Day theme in honor of that historic date, so we'll continue the tradition this month. Any weapon (or derivative) that would have been used by any of the forces fighting in Normandy on 6 June 1944 is considered fair game: K98s, Garands, Enfields, MP40s, MG34/42s, 1911s, BARs, Lugers, P38s, Webleys, G43s, M1903s, etc. You get the drift.
This entry thread will remain open until 6pm Central on Saturday, 28 June 2008.
Here's my unofficial entry for the month, a 1943 Lithgow No.I MkIII* (okay, so this one was never on the beaches, but one just like it may have been! )
