The #5Mk1 was one of the Maylasian used imports and had a lot of badly rusted screws and small parts, and a handguard that was so rotted and brittle it broke into three parts. Numerich supplied everything to return it to safe firing condition. The top #4mk1 is a 1943 BSA that when I aquired it, it had a non gunsmith scope mount installed with a cheap scope. Numerich supplied a MKIII ladder rear sight marked M47C for BSA, a sight collar and a new bolt stop screw to return it to original. The 1943 Savage #4MkI* on the bottom will need a few things to help it out as I just recieved it last week from Century, and Numerich will get the nod for any parts needed to fix and or restore it. I do not really intend to "plug" Numerich, but considering the other post, I feel I need to mention how much they have helped me in my collecting endevors. Semper Fi, Rob

Have used Numrich numerious times and have nothing but praise for them. I have rebuilt a Savage and am in the process of doing the same to a Maltby and a Jungle carbine. Some people forget that they are dealing with products more than 60 years old like to see what condition they are in at that age.

I soaked it in Kroil for three days and it freed up, and I was able to clean it. It is graduated to 800yds. The MKIII stamped sight on the BSA #4 is graduated to 1300yds, and it came from Numerich. If you need one be sure to order the sight collar also as the sight itself will be to narrow on the sight pin and needs the collar to keep from sliding to the right. poincianacab, Thank you, and I agree, some folks especially the younger new collectors, don't realize sometimes what these milsurp rifles have been through. Especially with all the third world use most of the British rifles have seen. In reguards to the #5, the Malaysian military was not easy going on these, and almost all of them I saw when they were being imported a few years ago were well neglected. This one took alot of time to soak and clean just to get it apart. But considering what they sell for now, I wish I had bought several. Semper Fi, Rob

Most of the parts I received were fine while some of it was overly-corroded crap <shrug> ... which I was able to send back for a decent replacement, in most cases. I have found that if you are going to order repro items from them (or any online vendor) your best bet is to ask questions in forums like this in order to locate one or more folks who have already ordered/received/used the repro in which you are interested. In some cases, even that is not enough. Awhile back, I decided to order 2 more of their repro SVT-40 mags. When I received them I found that the MFR (same, btw) had opted on a MFG shortcut that made the mags less dependable. So I returned them for a refund.
