I suppose since I started posting it'd only be proper to introduce myself. Im Kris (yes, it's an alias), from the Ozarks region of Southwest Missouri.
I've been frequenting this site for about 3 years gathering information and getting my questions answered regarding the different surplus weapons I own or
have handled. Currently my Surplus collection consists of a Russian Izhevsk M38 Mosin Nagant, a Polish Radom M44 Mosin Nagant, a Japanese Type 94 pistol, and a
Swedish Husqvarna M1887 Nagant revolver. I also keep my brother's sporterized Mauser Oberndorf Swede M38 as well, since he's not bothered to come get
it yet. Additionally, I have a small handful of other weapons: a breaktop Snake Charmer 410, a Remington 870 Marine Magnum, a Marlin Glenfield Model 60, a
Ruger 10/22 Deluxe Sporter, an AMT BackUp 380, a S&W model 66 in .357, and a Springfield Armory Hi-Cap 1911-A1.
I've found I dont need to talk much here (3 years of silence is evident of that) as pretty much anything I have needed to know has already been addressed several times. I want to thank everyone here for their valuable insight and information: it's made cataloging and appreciating my firearms much easier and more enjoyable.

But, if in your cataloging that nicely diverse collection of yours, you spot
something we've missed (always a possibility), I do hope you'll break silence and share it with us.
