Returned from Italy I think. It arrived last summer. Yesterday was the second time I have fired it and the first time I was able to run through more than one magazine. I was able to fire 10 -15 rounds from an Asian military 30 rd magazine. Later, it would just click and the firing pin didn't even mark the primers. I sprayed some Break Free into the bolt and it worked for that particular magazine. I tried different magazines and was using Remington and Wolf ammo. Magazine or ammo type performed the same. Intermittently, I could fire 10-15 rds. Mostly, it just clicked. I have cleaned the bolt as thoughly as I can without disassembling it. I used the brake clean spray and also submerged it in degreaser overnight. the brake clean spray goes in clear and comes out of the bolt the same. The firing pin appears to move freely. Is this a "spring" issue? Thanks for your help, Electron Don (formerly dhlochm)

If not, then your recoil spring may be weak. (It's designed not to fire unless the bolt is fully closed) 3> Is the trigger-group correctly installed, with the front cross-pin in place? 4> The type of magazine should not matter as far as getting a "click", but no dent on the primer. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- What part of "shall not be infringed" don't you understand? Replacing the recoil spring sounds like a plan. I was in the middle of an order from Midway so I just added a spring set to the order. I'll post how it works out.

Thus the firing pin can't be struck by the happer. ( A God-send for you) You may have to look at the bolt, each time to see if that is what is happening. Look at the position of that right lug. If this is happening often, you will spot it. It will be 'up' and not level with the receiver slot.Clean your chamber well. Lubricate the rails where the bolt and slide move.A recoil spring can't hurt either.
