Hello all. Just joined today. I'm sure I know a lot of you from eBayland. Been collecting for over 30 years. Specialize in WWI US and German firerarms and
edged weapons Also, Imperial Japanese firearms and edged weapons. I hope I can be an asset to this group. I promise I won't ask what a Yugo, SIG, or M7
bayonet is worth, or what it fits. Does anyone out there have knowledge of Japanese bayonets, beyond what is available in Mr Johnson, or Mr. Labar's books?
Got a few oddities I need to identify. M.P.

Hi M.P.
I am no expert in Japanese bayonets, but I am very curious about your oddities. Could you post pictures? Perhaps someone in this forum did have an ID or informations /Amsfelder |

Hi M.P.
Thank you for pics. I am afraid I have no ID or info on those knives. What is odd by the first one? /Amsfelder |

Not really the bayonet, but the frog. It has a brass stud as a retainer, instead of a buckle. Not in Johnson's, or Labar's books. Nor anywhere else I
have looked. Bayonet is an early trainer. Possibly Nambu due to scabbard mfg. style. Always the chance it's Chinese, or other? I really don't think so.
Got me stumped. Thanks for the reply. M.P.
