I found it in the gunshop for $175. It was a bit beat up and missing some parts. It looked like a pound puppy, which explains why it followed me home.
Anyway, half an afternoon spent removing rust spots, spot reblueing, cleaning the stock, replacing the missing sight hood and rear apeture and red and green safety markers and she was good to go. Havlin supplied the scope mount (great mount, BTW, and a great value), and it was off to the range to sight her in.
So, even with the BSA sweet .22 scope (highly recommended, IMHO) and mount I got a great vintage target rifle for about $250, as well as the satasfaction of knowing I 'saved' one. When I was all done she looked and shot like a new rifle.
