Posts: 76 (10/14/08 09:34 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None I had my ATF interview on 10/10/08 I was told it may take awhile to get my actual license due to the fact that the ATF Licesing center is relocating . Moving from Atlanta to I believe one of the Carolinas a 1/3 of the stuff is in the new location a 1/3 is on the road and the rest is still in Atalnta . I was told that they are issuing letters until the actual paper shows up. Just thought I would pass the intel on . Also got a copy of the new 4473 forms check boxes for the yes,no questions now and mainly made it more idiot proof that will also be comming soon.

(guess what) no answer!! My C&R expires on Nov.01.......now what.Oh, I live in Wisconsin, field office is in Minnasota.

I'm missing having that piece of paper though, although it has saved me a few dollars in purchases in the past 10 months, it has cost me more on the few things that I have picked up without it.

You have to call the Licensing Center in Martinsburg, WV. Your examiner at the FFLC is Kathy Johnson. Her direct number is (304) 417-2773. I'm just hoping to get my license before ClassicArms sells out of CZ82s and Romanian Tokarevs.

My License expired on Nov 1, 2008. My renewal was received on Aug 28th, I call the field office in St. Paul ( I am in Wisconsin) and left messages 3 times, no response at all. I call Supervisor David Dutra on Nov 7th (Friday) and left a message and followed up with another phone call today, Nov. 10th. Supervisor was very nice and explained the whole relocating deal going on. Took my information and will forward my "concern" that I don't have a license at this point and have "guns" being held because my license expired. He said he will forward my information to a Mr. Griffith? in Atlanta to see if I can get either a license or a letter that will cover me until the license arrives. So I guess it comes down to waiting another 3 days and then trying to contact this Mr. Griffith to see where I stand. They did take my email address and said they will add that as another point of contact for getting information to me. Oh, my check was cashed long ago. So here is sit missing out on many items.

So if you are due for a renewal be sure to send it in at least 3 months ahead of time. They are in the process of a major move and you (like me) could be sitting for awhile waiting for your new license to show up.

I received the renewal paperwork in early October, sent in paperwork October 24 and received my license November 14 2008. License was due to expire November 1 2008.
