It was enough to convince me I need a Pre-charged gun or a 12 year old who thinks the pumping is the fun part. The Crosman's appear to group a little better than the Raptors. Both had called fliers. Not only does it leave me with working arms, and a decent breathing system, but the guns seem to shoot a bit more accurately when not pumped to the max. Tom Ne Desit Virtus Rakkasans

I know pneumatic guns have their advantages, but I'm too lazy to deal with pumping them up. Plus I enjoy hunting with my airguns and pumping making takes too long for a followup shot. Posts: 232 Jul 31 09 4:05 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I just picked up a Crossman 760 from Wallyworld for $29- for some rats around the back of my property. Set up a Maxwell House steel coffee can with a small white medicine bottle lid (about 1 1/2 in across) taped to the blue lid (stood out nicely). Put an old suitcase behind it for a backstop. This was inside my house and shooting from my bar in the front room, down the hallway, to the back bedroom, measures 22ft. I could easily put the hits inside the white cap, and it would penetrate the steel coffee can (when I stood it upright) at the ten pump max recommended pump. When shooting at the med cap, it would put a huge dent in the bottom of the can. Mine has the green naturally illuminated front sight tube like insert. I used a leather glove on my left hand to work the pump because the plastic got slick from sweat. I live alone, and figured I'd get use to the pump gun inside. These Florida rats are pretty smart, and figured they'd have a scout rat watching me practice outside. Only down side is you might miss the opportunity to nail a second one right away while you're trying to pump ten out real quick. Last Edited By: ParrisIsland79 Aug 5 09 12:23 PM. Edited 1 times.
