Scheduled for the 21st thru 23rd if I'm not mistaken. I'll need to be there on Friday the 21st as once again I have shoots scheduled for the 22nd and
23rd. But thanks to the folks on this forum, I found out Friday may be the very best day to be there in some respects.

I'm scheduled to be there at the same table. I have a free Krag to the 937th person that comes to the table wearing one pink and one lime green sock, as
long as the person has one yellow and one purple eye. I'm "thinking" of unloading some of my Mausers, other rifles, but haven't got to
looking at my stuff yet.

I can get the socks down a Kmart, so now I just have to go get in a bar fight tonight, so that the black eye I get has time to fade to a high yellow. Then I'll get another one just before I head up, so that it will still be a good dark purple when I get there. Only thing left is to get 936 good disguises worked out and I've got it made! Now was that Krag a long rifle or a carbine??? See you up there if I can! |

The Krag is Trautert' sporterized rifle. I thought I already gave it away, but found it again.

I think I have about everything ready to load tomorrow. I got tired of going thru the stuff, but did find a Siamese Mauser I forgot I had, and an extra P 14,
also an '03 that I want to sell. Should be an interesting crowd, I bet the ammo goes fast. I wonder if Miwall will bring extra. I'm thinking primers is
about all I need, maybe some pistol ammo.

Is anyone coming from Ca. Nutsfor98's and his lovely bride? Trautert, I can't keep hauling that rifle around, but I think someone will win the raffle, or at least show up with the right color socks.

My buddies at the gun shop here in Stockton have doing really well ever since the election. I bet the crowd will be big up there. I may come up on Friday for
a change. Have to see how things go.

I'm packed and ready to go early tomorrow. We can do lunch on Friday instead if everyone shows up, no difference to me and might give Aubullet a chance to
visit. I imagine the place is going to be packed all three days if the other gunshows are any indication.

Don't try to rearrange stuff for me, but thanks for the thought. I don't mind being the odd man out, just dropping by to say hi, and picking up my Krag
(hehehe), if I get the chance. Having only the one day, which includes over 400 miles, makes time at the show a little tight, and doesn't allow much wiggle
room for lunch anyway. Someday, I'd love to spend the whole weekend and have plenty of time for everything. This time isn't it!!!

I'm not entirely certain what all is likely to be on my plate Friday. I know the morning will be busy. The likelihood of my breaking away will improve as
the day wears on. A couple of my buddies are telling me that the local shops have had items flying off the shelves the last 2 or 3 weeks. I expect we'll
see a good crowd at this show.

Well, it looks like a change of plans for me back to the old schedule. Been really sick all week with the cold from hell, with chest and sinus congestion,
terrible coughing, horribly sore throat, couldn't swallow, therefore couldn't eat, etc. Couldn't take a day off Wednesday because one of my
teaching partners was out and we don't like to have two subs on campus out of three teachers. Today was a huge field trip for six of my kids, country
vehicle, etc., so I had to go to that. I am taking tomorrow off, but am going to sleep for several hours and try to get well.
I will come up Saturday morning. Tom

Some rest should do the trick. It sounds like I'm whining, but it really is just an occupational hazard for teachers to catch every different virus that
comes along.
