This morning I went to the Orlando (Fl) gunshow and saw an "ole timer" walking around with a 1903 Remington. I have been half hardly looking of one
for the past year and had determined should I find a good deal that I would pick one up to fill in that spot in my collection. I started talking with the guy
and he had two and was liquidating one of them. It looked like too good of a deal to pass up, so I bought it. From all the research I have done, the rifle
looks almost correct with the exception of a "stamped" trigger guard (I believe for this serial range it should be milled). Other then that I
can't complain. Bore is sharp, headspacing is good and the wood looks to be in good shape with the correct FJA Stamp. What do you guys think for $550.00

. Well you never know what you'll run across, right?
