Hey guys, did the Swedish 96 use a muzzle cover in the same manner that the South American contract Mauser rifles did? If so, anyone know of a source?

The Swedes did experiment with similar muzzle covers , but they were never put into production . See fig.633 on page 268 in " Crown Jewels " . The
civilians used other types of muzzle covers ( same page ) , which are occasionally avaible on EBAY or Gunboards Swedish Military Forum .
