First time poster here! Was wondering if anyone knew where I could find the sling swivels for a Finnish-captured MN? I've looked at all the milsurp online sources I could find, but no luck... Thanks! quietwyatt |

If there are any available at the retail level, I am not aware. Last set I bought from a member here, he had an extra set - Try the trader both here and at
gunboards.com - I have had luck doing that.

Try Reich Outfitters or Tenn Gun Works (www.tngunparts.com). I have gotten hangers from both of them. I think Layne at
Tenn Gun Parts might still have the front hangers. I got some rear ones from Richard Reich last year but you need to E-Mail him with your needs and it
sometimes takes a while to get a reply as he has a regular Mon-Fri job. They are hard to fine. I have some that I am sitting on for future projest.

I have a set that I got from Layne at Tennessee Gun Parts a few years ago.
I am sitting at home recovering from surgery but I will try and put up a pic of them, they may be what you are looking for if you can't find them anywhere else..

Good pre-war/wartime dog collars, Finnish marked dog collars and Finnish sling hangers are all getting hard to find. Whenever I can find a decent set in good
shape of any of these I pick them up whether I need them or not.

Okay, not sure if there is any problem with posting on ongoing auctions here or not but um...check ebay.
expect to pay $15-$25 for a pair after shipping. good luck. Also, there are at least two different styles of these. Some of the later Finnish stocks are much thicker and the sling swivels with the crimps will not fit on the rear. These require the kind that are straight wire to get around the bottom of the buttstock. |
