Bob, I got a bottle of Jack too. My brother in law about had a fit though. Here in Kentucky, drinking Jack is about like kissing your cousin. People know it
happens, but we don't talk about it.

Got a copy of the History of the 107th Infantry, USA, by Gerald F. Jacobson. This was my father's regiment in WW I, and I needed to check some things
against his diary and letters home to his Mother which I have transcribed. An excellent book on a little known part of WW I.
RLMbassist: I have McBride's book also, and have taken it to several gun shows to read when things get slow. He sure had an interesting life. I guess he's fortunate to ahve survived WW I. I disagree with him about the accuracy of the Ross rifle: I have a couple of them and they shoot patterns, not groups. |

Mausers of the world 4th Edition. Now I need to research evevry one of my Mausers and get the details on them. I think I'll attach a tag to each one
giving the details so when I'm gone someone else will know what they have.

Nice pup!
Life is the crummiest book I ever read, there isn't a hook; Just a lot of cheap shots, pictures to shock, and characters an amateur would never dream up... |

I'm getting an M1903 Springfield. 1918 receiver, 1942 barrel. It's absolutely gorgeous. It's on layaway at the gun shop and I'm picking it up
this weekend.
I also got the "Starship Troopers" 3 DVD set and the History Channel "Secret Missions of the Civil War" game for the PS3. Now THAT is an old school shooter game! Matt |

New guy here...I have been lurking around for a while.
Got a monopod for hunting, some other minor hunting stuff (handwarmers, etc) and a 1900 Model 96 Swedish Mauser. Already had it to the range...it's sweet! My honey saw it at a local small gunshop and got it for me.....God I love that woman! |
