What can cause this? I own a 1942 Russian 91/30. Upon closing the bolt, the gun will fire. Everything worked fine when I bought it from the local gunshop
over a year ago. I was at my father's home range one day, and it fired when I closed the bolt. I was really shook up when it happened. Luckily I had it
pointed downrange. After unloading, I noticed it would fire upon closing with more frequency, until its at the point it does it 4 out of 5 times.
In my search to narrow down the problem, I pulled the bolt from my Finn and put it into the Russian, and it would still still fire upon closing, however very
rarely. (when I say *fire* I dont mean with ammunition, I just wanted clarify that)
I really like my Russian, its very accurate, and I would love to be able to shoot it again. Any help on solving my problem would be greatly apreciated.
Thanks, Randy
