Repro sling markings? |

Recently bought the below repro slings at a local gun show and noticed the markings (pictured). I dunno, any significance to these since these are the current
crop of repros on the market? Maybe someone's attempt at authenticity?

That's the Kentuckistan Arsenal code! Very rare!
Those don't look too bad for repros. I wouldn't have ever thought there would be a need for something like that with the abundance of real, post war slings out there.

Yeah, kinda makes you wonder. I once bought a couple original slings from a gunshow vendor for $10 each. He was selling these repros for $19 each. I dunno, I
guess because they just looked newer.
The current repros are actually very well made slings, and I've seen them sold as "unissued Polish slings" so buyer beware. |
