Greetings,
I have this MN-39 that has an extra set of numbers located on the right side of the barrel shank. Does anybody have an idea what this number is for? Thanks, in
advance, to everyone. Regards.

No S in front of it but it could be partial Civil Guard numbers. No signs of filled holes on the rifle? Bill

Civil Guard district number. It doesn't need the "S" prefix because it's a Sk.Y already. Definitely not a sniper.

I think I read somewhere that it may be district numbers. No filled holes but it has a lots of dots. Looks like alignment dots...front part of the trigger
guard adjacent to the bolt hole, rear part of the receiver tang adjacent the bolt hole, on the rear sight base, on the right side aft of the district # (as
shown in previous thread), just to name a few locations. This rifle doesn't speak, it's yelling at me
. Thanks and regards.
