My grandfather fought in Burma in WW2 and had a No.4 mk1 untill he passed. Unfortuantly my aunt sold it before I could contact her in Scotland and I have found myself obsessed with getting my hands on one from WW2 ever since (Looking for a Longbranch pre-1945). I have looked in the area and nothing is to be found. Are their any sites where I could purchase one in Canada, and how do I ensure quality? Beginning to think I might have to wait till the one gun show of the year, and no guarantees there. Any help is welcomed, Matt

Just some friendly advice if you have the patience. If you live close the U.S. you might want to consider a dip across the border too. It is an odd deal. I tried to order a Swedish Mauser barreled action from Canada to no avail.

I'm surprised so far how hard it is to find an asthetically pleasing and well working No.4. Maybe I've narrowed my search down too far as for the time being I'm looking for a Longbranch inside Canada. Has anyone else bought off an enfield off the internet?
