All SA except the op rod which is IH. Really nice gray park and a dark walnut stock. It comes with about 300 rnds of Korean ammo in bandos on enblocks. He wants 650.00 face to face. Good deal???

Both are to M2 Ball specs. I agree that $600 doesn't usually buy much Garand these days. Unless it's a real beater, it would probably be a good deal even without the ammo. "KA" Korean is excellent ammo, but as trautert says, it is corrosive, so plan on a full tear-down and cleaning at the range before you leave. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- What part of "shall not be infringed" don't you understand? Unless the barrel was so shot out that it had to be replaced immediately, you can't go wrong with that price on the Garand by itself. As mentioned, the Korean ammo is at least a quarter a round regardless of PS or KA, and if you bought it elsewhere, you have shipping on top of that. I'm not up enough to know the value of op-rods, but I wonder how much an IH op rod can be sold for to someone who's matching parts, and you put in a more common op rod in yours.
