Some of the ammo will be surplus to my needs, so I'm wondering what a fair price would be if I were to sell some of it. The ammo is Bulgarian in origin and loose. If you plan on keeping this rifle, I would not sell any ammo for it. Two years ago, ammo was $2.00 for 10 rounds of Nazi marked, with two charger clips included. The prices I mentioned above don't include clips, they average $5.00 to $8.00 each now. Hold onto it. It may never be available in quantity again.

If you have been involved with milsurps for very long, you will see how the ammo prices have gone thru the roof in the last couple of years. Anybody wanting, or even thinking,of selling off any is out of their mind! Some of us, including me, myself, and I, have pretty much shunned any new rifle purchases simply because we already have plenty and nothing exciting is coming on to the market. Instead we are concentrating on building up our ammo stores to feed what we have. Curt

I just posted a thread in the "for sale" forum and I'm asking 75 cents a round for the Bulgarian and 1.25 a round for the Nazi marked Austrian ammo. I'll probably regret selling it one day, but right now I can't imagine shooting all of the 8x56r ammo that I currently have, so I might as well make it available to someone who needs it. Moonlitin
