I've been looking for a long time and hit a lot of dead ends here... Does anybody have a 94/96 receiver that they don't need...??? I have everything that I need to put a carbine together except the receiver... I'd prefer an un-drilled/tapped 94, but I'll settle for a 96 in the same shape... I have a C&R if there is enough left of the rifle to ship it there.... I'd prefer to work out a trade... I have a few carbine parts,, including some slightly bubba'd rear sights,, a carbine buttplate, some other small parts, and a 94 barrel in the white.... I also have a few random parts for other Mausers... Un-issued 1895 Chilean Carbine stock...??? Turkish mauser stocks...?? Argentine ammo/barrels...??? Hell, if the deal struck me right, I might even consider parting with my minty 8.15x46r Gew98 barrel with the roller-coaster sight.... I just want to finish my rifle.... Basicly , you put a short barrel & bent bolt on a M-94 and a long barrel & straight bolt on a M-96 . Either can be used for your project . You are going to need a 01 FFL for transfer of a receiver by itself . Try Numrich Gun Parts : www.e-gunparts.com

The 94 and 96 are the same physically, but they come in different serial number blocks... Somebody out there has to have something... An import marked 96 with a bad bore...???

I've just been pretty broke lately and was hoping that someone would be into trading an extra receiver/parts gun for something that they need to complete their own project.... I've had these parts in a drawer for a while, and after shooting my friends '94 the other day,, I'm really itching to get mine finished...
