I live in Indiana and have a C&R FFL. I have someone at the other end of the state that wants to buy a Remington 22 from
me. He does not have a FFL. I read somewhere (BATF I think) that an unlicensed person in Indiana can ship a long gun to another person in Indiana a rifle as
long as he/she is adult who is allowed to own the gun.
However, does that also mean that since I do have a FFL, then I must ship to another FFL even within Indiana? Thanks, Don |

As long as you have proof that the recipient is a resident of the same state, and the shipment is within that state, then I think that the shipment is OK with
the Feds, and neither party needs to be licensed.
