First Luger 1917 Erfurt |
Lead | |
|
Just picked up this old Luger from my local gun shop, a 9mm. Its an Erfurt 1917 with all the numbers I can see matching, only the grips have been replaced.
Needs a good cleaning and checking over yet, but I hope it will make a nice shooter. Let me know what you think.

Looks mebbe like a reblue as well.
The normally strawed parts appear blue. Makes it a better shooter candidate. Getting iffy firing originals as sometimes they break. |

Absolutely disgusting. Send it to me so you won't be embarrassed!
Kidding....I love it. How much? Eh?

First Luger | ||
|
Hi TheMrMitch and Budop,
Thanks for the comments, I paid $550.00 for it from a local gun shop. I had asked him to find me a nice shooter and he came trough again, thanks Harry. I'd like to find original grips and a holster also. I would also like to find a WWII Luger, maybe a S/42 to go with my K98's. But first I need to clean up this gun and see how it shoots. Thanks again for checking out my gun. |

For grips, try:
Tom Heller PO Box 398 St Charles, MO, 63302 636 447-3006 hellerarms@webtv.net. A holster will be pricey. You might try Simpson's for one. |
