As noted on another topic, I stopped in a local gunshop this morning. it's a new one on an older establishment. They have stocked a modest rack of
milsurps. Had a 1938 Czech Mauser but the bore was a sewer pipe. Quite a few Mosins, mostly 91/30s. There was a nice hex receiver but again, a crappy bore.
Saw an interesting stock on one and reached for it. Front sight ears on a 91/30?! I checked the tag. Yep, marked 91/30. Looked again and saw it wasn't a
M39 as I first thought after all. Didn't know what it was, only that it was a Finn. I didn't have a penny on me, nothing. I eased out, dashed to the
wife and told her, "I gotta buy a gun, right now!" I made it back and $135.31 later, we walked out the door. (I have a CCL) That's steep for a
91/30 but I wasn't going to complain! 
It isn't primo, it isn't matching, but I think I done good. I haven't looked up the markings yet and as y'all know, I'm more of a Mauser guy. So any input at all as to what all this means, is most welcome.
And, ball park, what would be the fair market value of this gun?
