I placed the order on 2/11/09. Backorder, backorder, backorder. Pistol is in "as new" condition; same for the holster and two spare mags I ordered. I am just near speechless about the condition. Mfr date is 1953. Slight scuffing on the underside of the dust-cover where it enters the frame and a bit on the trigger. Bore is bright; rifling is crisp. Only a trace of copper-scuffing on the feed ramp and the internals are just squeaky-clean. Almost feel like apologizing to J&G for bugging them every week. Very happy, I am. I paid more than J&G charges (no FFL), and the exterior condition of the piece is not as good as yours. But the bore is great and it is a lot of fun to shoot, good accuracy too. I love it. I've gone through J&G for ammo before and the experience was good. If I had an FFL I wouldn't be afraid to order firearms from them.
