Alright so, I've recently ordered one of Darrell's scope mounts, and now obviously I am in the market for a scope. After looking through some existing
threads on this forum and reading Darrell's thorough recommendations (thanks D), I'm going to try and shoot for an NC Star 4x32 Pistol Scope. I
understand it's a bargain brand but I also understand that many report success with it and there will always be those who receive lemons. Hopefully
I'll get lucky, so far my luck has been good with this rifle.
I do have some questions before I go ahead and buy though, firstly, item # SCP432BE ($39.00 non-electronic version) on the following page:

Is what I'm looking for, right?
Secondly, I've heard talk about picking up some better rings instead of using the ones that come with the scope. Any specific recommendations there, or will pretty much anything be better than what it comes with?
Any other useful tidbits I should be aware of? It's all going on an M91/30 ('28 Hex)
