Posts: 1123 (04/19/09 06:39 PM) Veteran member Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I don't think that the Bullpup design concept has anything to offer in any bolt action venue, other than a vastly more complex trigger/sear linkage that is bound to interfere with the magazine feed system, or have to go around it ala 1911 Colt. Having the bolt back by your ear seems awkward at best, while having your face alongside the action just seems like a very bad idea. If you just have to do it, get yourself a Remchester to hack away on, but please leave our historic arms intact!

I don't see that as a real bullpup, anyway, which would have the receiver barely in front of the buttplate. I doubt it would be a particularly beneficial layout as a sniper rifle. Crunch

The trigger pulls were generally lousy, the guns were hideous, and they balanced like a brick. The fad soon subsided.
